An e-mail was sent to everyone on the State Board--please forward your Informer articles to both the State Deputy Chief Squire, Sean Roland, and Counselor Bruce Hopkins. The due date is July 26th. Thanks!

The deadline for the next Informer will be November 1st. Remember, anyone can submit an article-and it can be about anything!! Send all articles to SDCS Sean Roland.

Yes, any articles that are submitted before the deadline will be included in the next Informer, which in this case is the State Retreat. The Informer will also be available online after the outing.

The reason the last one wasn't included (remember James I owe you a bucket of chicken) was because everyone sent the articles in as late as the night prior to the actual outing and the copy editor was on a budget with Kinko's so the longest article was cut. Had the articles all been in on time, ahead of time, the copying could have been done at no cost through the generosity of the sponsoring council.
